During the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Gouldmans Pond while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Gouldmans Pond dip into the       20's. This lake is so wonderful. Gouldmans Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Big Timber Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and the Wilderness Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Four winds Golf and Camping Club is a glorious local campground; you don’t have to go far from Gouldmans Pond to distinguish the water at Gouldmans Dam. Near Gouldmans Pond you come across the Cedar Trail which is a good hiking trail,                  and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Mansion Trail. A pleasant nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dahlgren, Va; Millbank Bar is a glorious place to check out. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Gouldmans Pond is so good!
