Campbells Millpond is a splendid lake close to Goose Pond, and close by you find the Sawdust Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do near Goose Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express Inn - Ruther Glen, and North Anna River is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Lots of folks from Richmond come to Goose Pond; R Collins Dam is a place that is near Goose Pond.

| | Kampground is always a wonderful experience, and there are other places here than Goose Pond, for example Martin Pond. Goose Pond is a pretty wet place regularly with a large amount of rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Through the long summer days at Goose Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while | |

This lake is so wonderful. The Gracik Trail is a nice hiking trail close to Goose Pond, and you can run the rapids of Little River - North Anna Tributary. This lake is so wonderful.
Camping is available at Hidden Acres Family Campground; Mattaponi Springs Golf Club is a glorious golf course nearby. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel Ruther Glen Kings Dominion Area is a perfect choice, and going for a hike on the Coon Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
