There's so much to do here at Goose Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Virginia Landing is a good spot for that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Horseshoe Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Cedar Island Beach, and don't       miss out on a magnificent swamp; Clubhouse Gut is right here at Goose Lakes. From a rain point of view Goose Lakes is a pretty common place; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is April. If only every site had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. A visit to Dawson Shoals is always fun, and Italian Hill is painless to spot from Goose Lakes.
