Bartleys Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and a tremendous location to camp here at Gibson Pond is Pine Mountain State Park. Bee Branch flows through this vicinity; camping is available at Cedar Grove Marina and Campground. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. While you're here at Gibson Pond, you could also explore beautiful       Arthur Lake, and if you're here why not go to Butchers Gap. Gibson Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful.
