This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Wilderness Trail Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has to offer. There's so much to do here at Gibson Pond that you need to camp here       for a while, Pine Mountain State Park is a magnificent site for that, and Holiday Inn Express MIDDLESBORO is a nice site to get some rest. The summit of Walnut Hill can be made out from Gibson Pond, and Gibson Pond is right by the Ridge Trail. So many exciting things to do here at Gibson Pond, too brilliant to be true. While you're here at Gibson Pond you will meet lots of folks from nearby Middlesborough, and nearby you come across Butchers Gap which                  is a great location to visit. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Cumberland Plateau Mountains rules! Gibson Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Grove Marina and Campground is a wonderful local campground, and you'll find a delightful lake called Bartleys Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Monta Vista Golf Club, and do take a hike on the Chadwell Gap Trail. There's some flowing water close by, Bee Branch is a stream you can visit while here, and a picturesque lake like Arthur Lake is a splendid location to have a look at. Gibson Pond is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Summertime at Gibson Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
