Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Gent Lake tend to be in the 20's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Visit Casey Branch while you're here at Gent Lake, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Lebanon is a great       spot to spend a night or two. All the water falling down from the sky makes Gent Lake a wet location; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February. Whitewater paddling is good on Clinch River, and the scenery at Gent Brothers Dam is scenic. The summit of The Doubles can be made out from Gent Lake. There's so much to do here at Gent Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Callebs Cove Campground is a good place for that.                  This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a fine choice, and you can stay the night at Riverside Campground. Paddling on Little River - Clinch R.
