Fox Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Hillwood Camping Park is a great campground nearby. Fox Lake ordinarily gets a lot of rain; through May this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. A brilliant nearby hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Fair Oaks; at Fox Lake you always meet someone from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria.

| | thing to do around Fox Lake; Meadow Trail is a tremendous local trail. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in the vicinity of Fox Lake. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn University Center is a nice choice, and not far from Fox Lake you obtain some good water scenery at Fox Dam. A round of golf at nearby Penderbrook Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time, and there's magnificent hiking along the Gold Mine Trail.

for whitewater paddling near Fox Lake is Potomac River, and why not explore close by Little Difficult Run while you're here at Fox Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Potomac Heritage Trail, and if
you came for an overnight stay Clay Cafe Studios is a fine site to camp. All through the summer at Fox Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's; the overnight is a tad cooler of course, typically in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Fox Lake.
