    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Flag Pond. So many exciting things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, just impressive. Flag Pond gets a large amount of water; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. A pleasant journey to Back Valley is a good way to spend an afternoon, and camping at Natural Tunnel State Park is always a splendid experience.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable
 
   things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Going for a hike on the Daniel Boone Trail is always a delightful adventure, and a good site to camp here at Flag Pond is Cave Springs Campground. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Flag Pond, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's while Flag Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort  
               Inn & Suites is a glorious place to get some rest; close by you discover Rasnic Hollow which is a good location to pop by.
This lake is located in the wonderful Cumberland Plateau Mountains. So many enjoyable things to do at Flag Pond, so little time. The Powell Mountain here at Flag Pond makes the scenery here brilliant, and Powell River is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. The vista of beautiful Powell Mountain near Flag Pond is good, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Church Hill is a wonderful place to spend a night or two.
