Fields Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many entertaining things to do here at Fields Reservoir, too good to be true. If the weather is tremendous here at Fields Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Bearpen Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Piney Creek. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too magnificent

| | to be true. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Fields Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Twin Rivers Campground, and Master Hosts - Alleghany Inn is a splendid site to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Crigger Creek Trail; whitewater paddling is good on New River. While you're here at Fields Reservoir you can take a hike along the Virginia Highland Trail; in the event that you don't mind getting | |

soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on New River - South Fork. At Fields Reservoir throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures
during the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Fields Reservoir dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Fields Reservoir a wet place; July is the month that
gets the most rain; November is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at River Camp USA RV Park and Campground. All year is a glorious time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you like the outdoors.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Eldreth At Mount Jefferson, and people from North Wilkesboro love to come here.
Very brilliant water scenery is available at Fields Dam near Fields Reservoir; the view of Fox Knob is lovely.
