It's always fun to stop by Farmers Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Coon Trail; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on North Anna River. An average amount of rain falls at Farmers Pond; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Koa Kampground. This lake is so wonderful. Cattlet Creek is a scenic stream that is worth a visit; Broaddus Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. Take a hike on the Sawdust Trail, and if you need a site to stay Ruther Glen Howard Johnson Express Inn is a nice choice.
