There's always Falls Mill Dam to pop by next to Falls Mills Lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Richwood Golf Club & Campgrounds is always a delight. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Winterplace, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Bluefield is a splendid choice. Summertime highs at Falls Mills Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; nighttime lows during the winter for Falls Mills Lake tend to be in the 10's. | |

This place, Falls Mills Lake, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. You can run the rapids of Bluestone River right next door to Falls Mills Lake, and there are plenty of people from Bluefield here.
The Walker Mountain
Trail is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Falls Mills Lake, and a splendid close by hotel is Econo Lodge Bluefield. This lake is so wonderful. Pinnacle Creek is a great whitewater spot near Falls Mills Lake, and hey, Big
Branch is a good local stream.
Abbs Valley is a great place to spend some time at; if you came for an overnight stay Richwood Golf Club is a perfect place to camp.
