Going for a hike on the Cedar Trail is always a great adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay Hidden Acres Family Campground is a pleasant place to camp. A good deal of rain falls at Elliots Pond; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so       wonderful. While you're here at Elliots Pond, you could also stop by gorgeous Smoots Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express Inn - Ruther Glen. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Elliots Pond called the Sawdust Trail, and you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Elliotts Pond. North Anna River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Campground 721 is a delightful local campground. That right there                  is a load already, but it keeps on going; Elliots Pond has it all. Playing golf is lots of fun at Mattaponi Springs Golf Club, and Elliots Pond is not far at all from Richmond. At Elliots Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Elliots Pond fall into the 20's.
