Edinburg Reservoir is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Edinburg Reservoir. Once the sun is down it       drops down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Edinburg Reservoir drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You can                  run the rapids of Passage Creek close to Edinburg Reservoir; if you're looking for a nice tour, Shenandoah National Park is reasonably near. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Stony Creek - North fork Shenandoah Tributary; Edinburg Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Creekside Campground is a wonderful local campground. Go for a hike on the Little Fort Trail, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express WOODSTOCK-SHENANDOAH VALLEY is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Bryce Resort has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
