At Lake Drummond during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Lake Drummond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. You're sure to stumble upon some wonderful folks from Elizabeth City here, and camping is available at Chesapeake Campgrounds.       This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk, and after a long day outdoors Candlewood Suites CHESAPEAKE/SUFFOLK is a good location to spend a night or two. Lake Drummond is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rain; July is when you get the most rain here while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
