If you like lakes and you're in this part of Virginia you can check out Deer Lake. There's so much to do here at Deer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shenandoah River State Park is a tremendous site for that; if you're here you can take a hike along the Belle Meade Linden Trail. If the weather is glorious here at Deer Lake, you can go for a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail, and you can run the rapids of Happy Creek. This lake is so wonderful. On

This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Deer Lake, you'll discover Loch Linden Lake which is a delightful lake, and there's whitewater on Shenandoah River for all you adrenaline junkies. Yeah, come here to Deer Lake for a glorious time. Lakes are great; Lake of the Clouds is a lake that's
close to Deer Lake, and Bowling Green Country Club is a good golf course close by. So much fun stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not sufficient time. Deer Lake is in the neighborhood of Deer Dam which is a wonderful site undeniably
worth stopping at; a nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites FRONT ROYAL BLUE RIDGE SHADOWS. This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Deer Lake
has to offer, you can camp at Sky Meadows State Park; the Dickey Hill Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by.
Deer Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains.
