Take a hike on the Chopawamsic Trail; Dalton Pond is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Oak Ridge Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby. Summertime highs at Dalton Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's while Dalton Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. You can

| | run the rapids of Broad Run near Dalton Pond, and Dalton Pond is right by the Farms to Forest Trail. But wait, there's more to do next to Dalton Pond. Stay the night at Rappahannock River Campground; Country Inn By Carlson Stafford is a tremendous site to get some rest. mood you can always take a look at nearby Hidden Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are tremendous; Camp Upshur Pond is a lake that's near Dalton Pond. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the South Valley Trail, and Dalton Pond is a spot with many visitors from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria.
