Wilderness Presidential Resort is a delightful local campground, and do take a hike on the Chopawamsic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Fredericksburg Travelodge is a fine choice, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the South Valley Trail. A charming       lake like Arrowhead Lake close to Curtis Park Lake is a great spot to have a look at; playing golf is lots of fun at Cannon Ridge Golf Club. If you come at the right time of year, Rapidan River offers some splendid whitewater; there's always Curtis Memorial Park Dam to pop by close to Curtis Park Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
