This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. An average amount of precipitation falls at Crimora Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we       recommend Moormans River, and Crimora Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Waynesboro North 340 Campground is a nice location to camp nearby. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Waynesboro is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and a pretty lake like Crozet Water Supply Reservoir is a tremendous place to take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. You get a perfect view of Davis Mountain from Crimora Lake, and Massanutten is a great                  local ski area. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop by Charlottesville Reservoir in the neighborhood of Crimora Lake; Quality Inn Waynesboro is a great site to get some rest. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Cold Spring Hollow is in the neighborhood of Crimora Lake and is a delightful place; the skiing at Wintergreen is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Crimora Lake; Rocks Mountain Trail is a perfect local trail, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on South River. There's good hiking along the Wildcat Ridge Trail, and you'll probably meet some people from Harrisonburg here. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Turk Mountain Trail; Misty Mountain Camp Resort is a tremendous local campground. Summertime at Crimora Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
