The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wintergreen since you're here, and if you need a place to stay Waynesboro-Days Inn is a tremendous choice. Summer at Crimora Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows throughout the       wintertime for Crimora Lake tend to be in the 10's. The amount of precipitation that falls at Crimora Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Here at Crimora Lake you can see Davis Mountain; the Turk Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Moormans River, and good hiking is available                  along the Wildcat Ridge Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Crimora Lake. Misty Mountain Camp Resort is a tremendous local campground. Lakes? Sure, Crozet Water Supply Reservoir is close by. And if that's not enough there's lots more fun things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on South River, and Crimora Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Waynesboro North 340 Campground is a great site to camp nearby. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Massanutten; you might also want to pay a visit to Cold Spring Hollow since you're here at Crimora Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
