On a perfect day at Crestmoor Lake you can take a hike along the Trout Creek Appalachian Trail; you'll probably meet some folks from Roanoke here. | | driest month. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Crestmoor Lake highs are typically in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Crestmoor Lake during the winter commonly plunge into the 20's.

out on a spree to Booker T Washington National Monument if you're here at Crestmoor Lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Roanoke River - South Fork. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do in close proximity to Crestmoor Lake.
There's so much to do here at Crestmoor Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beartree - George Washington National Forest is a pleasant location for that, and the vista of Sugarloaf Mountain is striking.

Kimble Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Crestmoor Lake, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Inn At Ridgewood Farm is a magnificent choice. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great
globe it would be. Windsor Lake Dam has great water scenery and it's near Crestmoor Lake, and a nice nearby hotel is Days Inn Salem.
So many cool things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not sufficient time. Crestmoor Lake is
great enough to spend more than a day at, Grindstone - George Washington National Forest is a great local campground, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Craig Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the North
Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; some of the water nearby flows, like Barnhardt Creek. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
