This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Old Romney Grade will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and an exciting thing to check out right next door to Cove Lake is Cove Number Two Dam. Cove Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Cove Lake, you can go for a hike along the Little Passage Trail, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Winchester here. Yeah, come here to Cove Lake for a tremendous time. The Signal Knob Trail is a nice hiking trail near Cove
Lake, obviously you could also check out Cove Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
For the period of the summer months highs here at Cove Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cove Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Inn Strasburg VA. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cove Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cove Campgrounds.
