This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Passage Creek near Cooley Lake, and Cooley Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Front Royal Koa Kampground is a pleasant local campground. Golf Club. The warmest time of the year at Cooley Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter
nights come with lows in the 10's to Cooley Lake.
Cooley Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month. This lake is one of the great places
here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. After a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Front Royal is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and hiking along the Shawl Gap Trail is brilliant fun.
All the outdoors fun stuff close to Cooley
Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Camping at Shenandoah River State Park is always a good experience, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Winchester here. Having a good time at Cooley Lake is trouble-free. Having a delightful
time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is easy. There's always Cooley Dam to visit close to Cooley Lake; from Cooley Lake you acquire a tremendous vista of Guard Hill.
