I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Collins Lake. You'll stumble on a pretty lake called Tom Rogers Farm Pond near Collins Lake. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Hardware River, and if you need a site to stay Farmville Super 8 Motel is a good choice. If you came for an overnight stay Bear Creek State Park is a good place to camp, and lakes are such peaceful places, why       not go to Clements Lake. Cedar Crest At Twin Lakes State Park is a magnificent campground nearby, and Farmville - Days Inn is a great spot to get some rest. A common amount of rain falls here at Collins Lake; the month with most of the rain is October, and the driest month is September. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Slate River, and Collins Dam is beautiful. For the duration of the summer, highs commonly are in the 80's                  at Collins Lake with overnight lows in the 60's.
