Beautiful College Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Cheese Creek is a splendid local stream, and float down the rapids of Harris Creek in a kayak. A splendid nearby hotel is Quality Inn Lynchburg; on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Cashaw Creek Trail. College Lake is not the only site close by, College Hill Reservoir is a close by lake.

average; October is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
The Tolley Gap Trail is a delightful hiking trail near College Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything College Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wildwood Campground.
