Coles Run Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Coles Run Reservoir is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Coles Run Reservoir is great fun, Kennedy Fields Campgrounds is a great local campground; Best Western Waynesboro Inn & Suites Conf Ctr is a nice spot to get some rest. During the warm months at Coles Run Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 80's with night lows in the 60's.

| | Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Coles Run Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. The view of charming Donald Fauber Mountain near Coles Run Reservoir is wonderful, and going for a hike on the Kennedy Ridge Trail is always a great adventure. Shenandoah Acres Resort is a wonderful campground here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tye River - North | |

Fork, and don't leave Coles Run Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Mills Creek Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a great time. Float down the rapids of Back Creek - South River Tributary
in a kayak, and Wintergreen is a magnificent local ski area. There are plenty of people from Staunton-Waynesboro here at Coles Run Reservoir; there are glorious sites to explore along the Stony Run Trail. Coles Run Reservoir gets
a normal amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever
want to return home again. You can take a little tour to Coles Run Dam while you're here at Coles Run Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay Staunton - Days Inn Mint Springs is a wonderful choice. Mountain Lake is a glorious lake close to Coles Run Reservoir, and obviously Falling Rock Creek flows through this area.
