     Why not take a refreshing hike along the Rocky Row Trail, and lots of folks from Lynchburg come here. Colemans Fall Reservoir gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. A brilliant location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Colemans Fall Reservoir is James River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Colemans Fall Reservoir has to offer, you  
   can camp at Wildwood Campground.
Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express LYNCHBURG; you can run the rapids of Pedlar River. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Colemans Fall Reservoir; Piney Ridge Trail is a wonderful local trail, and there's great hiking along the Cashaw Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Colemans Fall Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Mountain Campground is a pleasant spot for that, and of course, this is a magnificent vicinity for people who like lakes, Big Island Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. For the duration of the summer months at Colemans Fall Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Colemans Fall Reservoir are in the 20's.
