The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Cocram Mill Pond; the overnight is rather cooler of course, usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the       40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cocram Mill Pond temperatures dip to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Willville Bike Camp, and a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Dan River. What a place this is for outdoors people. Dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Mt Airy-Mayberry, and do take a hike on the Fire Trail. A glorious site to camp here at Cocram Mill Pond is Meadows Of Dan Campground, and Cocram Mill                  Dam is a place that is next to Cocram Mill Pond.
