If you came for an overnight stay Candy Hill Campground is a splendid place to camp, and there are plenty of people from Winchester here. At Cherokee Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; night lows all through the winter for Cherokee Lake tend to be in the 10's.
