You're sure to bump into some cheerful people from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria here, and you can catch a glimpse of Rock Hill from Chantilly Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Farms to Forest Trail. whitewater spots on Broad Run. Bull Run Regional Park is a glorious local campground, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Oak Ridge Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things
at Chantilly Lake. Chantilly Country Club Dam is stunning and it's next to Chantilly Lake; General's Ridge Golf Course is a golf course close by. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Chantilly
Lake. Chantilly Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Clay Cafe Studios is a magnificent location to camp nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Cub Run offers some fine whitewater.

 | 11 miles away Tried to put in at the Fairfax Dam but the City of Fairfax has closed the road and posted no trespassing signs everywhere. Seem to be pretty serious about prosecuting violators and towing cars. The portage around dam is too hard for rafts and steep for others.... |
