This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the North Mountain Trail is always a glorious adventure, and do pop by Loch Haven Lake,
it's a scenic lake. Carvins Cove Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's some interesting stuff to observe at Carvins Cove Dam near Carvins Cove Reservoir, and don't leave Carvins Cove Reservoir without
first going for a hike along the Fenwick Nature Trail.
These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a popular place for people from Roanoke; paddling on Barbours Creek is
so much fun. From a rain point of view Carvins Cove Reservoir is a rather normal spot; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Beartree - George Washington National
Forest is a glorious campground nearby, and since you're here, you could also visit gorgeous Lock Haven Lake.
