near Carvins Cove Reservoir; if you're a golfer then a perfect nearby course is Brookside Par 3 Golf Course.
This lake is so wonderful. The friendly folks of Roanoke like to hang out nearby, and going for a hike along the Fenwick
Nature Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Hiking along the North Mountain Trail is great fun, and the top of Brushy Mountain is easily distinguished from Carvins Cove Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Catawba Creek, and why not camp at Beartree - George Washington National Forest if you're here at Carvins Cove Reservoir.
Have a fine hiking adventure along the Curry Creek Trail, and if you're
looking for a brilliant trip, Booker T Washington National Monument is rather near. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always
