Take a hike on the Long Creek Trail; Budget Lodge Beach Quarters is a nice place to get some rest. After a long       day outdoors Beach Quarters Resort is a nice place to spend a night or two, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the White Hill Lake Trail. Stay the night at North Landing Beach Riverfront Resort and Campground; if you're visiting from Elizabeth City, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Back Bay near Carol Pond is always a perfect idea; unsurprisingly, this is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes, Nellie Bell Ponds                  is a lake nearby. You're almost certainly keen on lakes, Indian Pond is one of those nearby, and going for a hike along the High Dune Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Bay Haven Camp is a great campground nearby, and it's a good idea to stop at Devil Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
