Hiking is a popular thing to do around Camp Upshur Pond; Chopawamsic Trail is a tremendous local trail, and get covered with water paddling on Aquia Creek. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Camp Upshur Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Camp Upshur Pond are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along

| | the Farms to Forest Trail, and Camp Upshur Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Bull Run Regional Park is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the South Valley Trail; Olde Town Inn-Manassas is a wonderful location to get some rest.
You're almost certainly into lakes, Dalton Pond is one of those close by. There's so much to do here at Camp Upshur Pond that you need to camp here for a while, | |

Oak Ridge Campground is a great spot for that. Whitewater paddling is nice on Broad Run, and Camp Upshur Pond is not far at all from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria. If you need a site to stay Home Style Inn-Manassas is a splendid
choice; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Bristow Manor Golf Club.
Man, is there lots of amusing things to do right next door to Camp Upshur Pond. Nearby lakes? Sure, Engh Pond is near Camp Upshur
Pond, and some of the water nearby flows, like Chestnut Branch. A large amount of rain falls at Camp Upshur Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
