This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Camp Shawnee Lake, you could also pop by nearby Sutherlin Millpond, and you can run the rapids of Dan River. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Camp Shawnee Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's.
