What a nice lake Camp One Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Old Hickory Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Camp One Lake; Quantico Falls Trail is a fine local trail. You could also have a look at Camp Four Lake while you're here at Camp One Lake; it's close by; there's good hiking along the North Valley Trail. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Camp One Lake through the wintertime typically dip into the 20's. At Camp One Dam in the vicinity of Camp One Lake there are some interesting things to see, and after a long day outdoors
Hampton Inn Dumfries/Quantico is a pleasant site to spend a night or two.
