You'll locate a stunning lake called Buck Reservoir near Byllesby Reservoir; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Bournes Branch Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling next to Byllesby Reservoir is New River, and camping at New River Trail State       Park is always a pleasant experience. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Ft Chiswell Wytheville Area is a great location to spend a night or two, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chestnut Creek. But wait, there's more to do close to Byllesby Reservoir. You can take a little visit to Byllesby Dam while you're here at Byllesby Reservoir, and Byllesby Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more                  than a day at, Fries New River RV Park is a wonderful local campground. Byllesby Reservoir is a good location of common precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is January. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Galax; the panorama of lovely Farmers Mountain is perfect. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Byllesby Reservoir you can take a hike along the Cliff Branch Trail, and going for a hike along the Yellow Branch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Byllesby Reservoir. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 40's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Byllesby Reservoir fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Byllesby Reservoir, you could also take a look at wonderful Kennedys Lake, and why not take a little tour to Big Branch while you're here.
