Buck Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Super 8 Ft Chiswell Wytheville Area is a great spot to get some rest, and why not check out Buck Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay New River Trail State Park is a good site to camp, and if the weather is pretty, you get a nice view of Farmers Mountain from Buck Reservoir. You'll beyond doubt       wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's some flowing water close by, Big Branch is a stream you can take a look at while here, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Max Meadows is a delightful site to spend a night or two. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Buck Reservoir. A great place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Buck Reservoir is Chestnut                  Creek, and the Bournes Branch Trail offers hiking at its best. That right there is loads of fun things already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Fries New River RV Park is a nice local campground, and there's great hiking along the Cliff Branch Trail. Summertime highs at Buck Reservoir usually tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's while Buck Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. The yearly precipitation here at Buck Reservoir is about average; July is when you get the most rain here; January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
