Browns Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Near Browns Pond you stumble on Foxtail Hollow which is a tremendous place to stop by, and why not a little side visit to Campbell Run. For the duration of the months of summer at Browns Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Browns Pond are in the 10's.

| | This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of The Homestead are so inviting noone can resist. There's so much to do here at Browns Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Virginia Power is a nice site for that.

If you need a spot to stay Ft. Lewis Lodge is a brilliant choice,
and if the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a perfect panorama of Meadow Knob from Browns Pond. Browns Pond is a pretty wet place typically with much rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains
the most, and the driest of the months is December.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Marshall Draft Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; do take a hike on the Fort Lewis Trail.
