Browns Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Throughout the summer at Browns Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's while Browns Lake overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. College Run Trail. This site is so good, just explore all the enjoyable things to do near Browns Lake. Bailey Creek is a great spot to have a look at, and there are plenty of people from Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News here.
There's always Eustis Dam to go to in the neighborhood of Browns Lake, and a perfect swamp near Browns Lake is Butlers Gut. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Skiffs Creek Reservoir is one of those nearby; going for a hike along
the Lower Chippokes Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
While you're here at Browns Lake you can take a hike along the James River Trail, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Newport News, Virginia is a magnificent place to spend a night or two.
