It's always fun to stop by Broaddus Pond. Going for a hike on the Coon Trail is always a great adventure, and camping is available at Milford Koa Kampground. From a rain point of view Broaddus Pond is a quite common site; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Anna Tributary; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Sawdust Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Chinns Run; why not camp at Hidden Acres Family Campground if you're here at Broaddus
Pond. A magnificent nearby hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Fredericksburg South, VA, and not far from Broaddus Pond you'll stumble on Farmers Pond which is a picturesque lake. At Broaddus Pond all through the summertime
months highs are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Broaddus Pond temperatures descend to the 20's.
