Take a hike on the Gracik Trail; some of the water nearby flows, like Chinns Run. So much entertaining stuff to do at Broaddus Pond, so little time. After a long day outdoors Ruther Glen Howard Johnson Express Inn is a fine site to spend a night or two, and you can run the rapids of North Anna River. Little River - North Anna Tributary is a great whitewater spot close to Broaddus       Pond; good water scenery is available at Broaddus Dam near Broaddus Pond. The friendly people of Richmond like to hang out nearby; hiking along the Sawdust Trail is splendid fun. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Milford Koa Kampground is always a magnificent experience; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Coon Trail. Summertime at Broaddus Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The                  wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Broaddus Pond. Broaddus Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February.
