This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Brick House Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sky Meadows State Park, and Brick House Dam is beautiful. Go for a hike on the Belle Meade Linden Trail, and needless to say, this is a great region for people who like lakes, Skallerup Pond is a       lake close by. Throughout the warm days of summer at Brick House Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Brick House Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. There's so much to do here at Brick House Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Campground is a brilliant spot                  for that, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Broad Run. And that's not all you can do here at Brick House Lake. Why not check out nearby Gap Run while you're here at Brick House Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Black Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn - Warrenton is a great site to spend a night or two, and Shenandoah River is a nice whitewater spot close by.
