Breckenridge Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Breckenridge Reservoir. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Breckenridge Reservoir. August, and January on the other hand is the driest. Breckenridge Reservoir is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Aquia Pines Campground is a nice place to camp nearby, and a delightful close by hotel is Ramada Inn Quantico.
And that's not all you can do here at Breckenridge Reservoir. While you're here at Breckenridge Reservoir you can take a hike along the High Meadows Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Quantico Creek - South Branch. This lake
is so wonderful. Visit North Branch Chopawamsic Creek if you're here at Breckenridge Reservoir, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not pop by Breckinridge Reservoir. Going for a hike along the South Valley Trail will let you
absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; there are plenty of people from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria here.
