Braley Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Chestnut Oak Knob is gorgeous and can be observed from Braley Pond, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn Staunton is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Shaws Fork; you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the West Augusta Trail.

from Braley Pond you obtain some glorious water scenery at Braley Dam. For the duration of the summer at Braley Pond highs are generally in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime
the highs are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Braley Pond during the winter usually plunge into the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the neighborhood of Braley Pond. Barn Lick Branch is right
next door to Braley Pond and is always a joy to have a look at. There's so much to do here at Braley Pond that you need to camp here for a while, North River Campground is a good spot for that.
This lake is so wonderful. Near
Braley Pond you find glorious places like Broad Draft, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Calfpasture River.
