Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Blue Ridge Lake. A tremendous place in the neighborhood of Blue Ridge Lake is Bacon Hollow. There's so much to do here at Blue Ridge Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Swift Run Campground is a pleasant site for that. From a rainfall point of view Blue Ridge Lake is a quite normal location;       the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January. Roach River is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Blue Ridge Lake, and a lake nearby is Goose Pond. The Saddleback Mountain Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Blue Ridge Lake; if you came to camp Loft Mountain Campgrounds is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Doubletree Hotel Charlottesville is a wonderful spot to get some rest,                  and there's some flowing water nearby, Chesley Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here. For the duration of the days of summer here at Blue Ridge Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Blue Ridge Lake. There is a brilliant hiking trail in the vicinity of Blue Ridge Lake called the Beldor Ridge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn Charlottesville. There are plenty of folks from Charlottesville here at Blue Ridge Lake. On a glorious day at Blue Ridge Lake you can take a hike along the Hensley Hollow Trail, and do take a look at Blue Ridge School Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
