Hiking along the Turk Branch Trail is brilliant fun; Blandemar Farm Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Charlottesville Koa Kampground is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Blandemar Farm Dam close to Blandemar Farm Pond is charming, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Hardware River - North Fork.
