Don't leave Blackbeard Pond without first going for a hike along the Big Meadow Trail, and nothing beats kicking back at Ragged Point Beach. Blackbeard Pond is a great location to visit for more than one day, Coles Point Plantation is a great location to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Lexington Park Super 8 Motel is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Lexington       Park come to Blackbeard Pond, and you are close to Beatley Point since you're here. From a rainfall point of view Blackbeard Pond is a rather typical place; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. While you're here at Blackbeard Pond, you could also stop at beautiful Bettys Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Turkey Neck Trail. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Stay the                  night at LA Grande Estate Camping Resort, and why not a little side trip to Cherry Grove Creek. Near Blackbeard Pond you locate a golf course called Millers Glen Golf Course; if you like swamps you're in luck, Grannys Bar is right nearby. Nearby Stony Bar is a fine place to go if you're at Blackbeard Pond; do have a look at Cherry Grove Pond, it's a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Sleep Inn Lexington Park; if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Narrow Beach. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Blackbeard Pond. At Blackbeard Pond during the summertime highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's.
