Big Lake is a good place of normal rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Big Lake. At Big Lake you can distinguish Big Cobbler Mountain; the scenery at Big Lake Dam is scenic. This lake is so wonderful. Big       Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Sky Meadows State Park is a perfect local campground. Summertime highs at Big Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Big Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. A nice spot to camp here at Big Lake is Shenandoah River State Park, and                  there's perfect hiking along the The Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You could also have a look at Sawyer Pond while you're here at Big Lake; it's nearby; don't leave Big Lake without first going for a hike along the Belle Meade Linden Trail. Float down the rapids of Shenandoah River in a kayak; if you've had enough of Big Lake, Digulin Pond is close by.
