On a wonderful day you acquire a vista of Gillums Mountain from Bermbergers Pond, and Bermbergers Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Misty Mountain Camp Resort is a great local campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Not far from Bermbergers Pond, you'll find Beaver Creek Reservoir which is a lovely lake, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Hardware       River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Turk Branch Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Moormans River offers some brilliant whitewater. Good hiking is available along the Riprap Trail, and Beaver Creek is near Bermbergers Pond and is always a delight to explore. Bermbergers Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January. This                  lake is so wonderful. Bermbergers Dam is a beautiful location next to Bermbergers Pond; Starwood Hotels & Resorts is a great place to get some rest. Don't leave Bermbergers Pond without first going for a hike along the Falls Trail, and the great folks of Charlottesville like to hang out close by. A day on the slopes of Wintergreen is just what you need. A tremendous close by hotel is Greenwood Motel, and a splendid spot to camp here at Bermbergers Pond is Charlottesville Koa Kampground. Summer at Bermbergers Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
