This lake is so wonderful. Near Bell Pond you discover the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and why not have a look at Bell Dam while you're here. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Bell Pond has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Goodstone Inn, and why not a little side       trip to North Fork Goose Creek. If you need a location to stay Comfort Suites Leesburg is a nice choice; if you're dropping by from Hagerstown-Martinsburg, you won't be the only one. Lakes are such calm places, why not check out Cherry Hill Pond close to Bell Pond, and an afternoon playing golf at Westpark Golf Club is always a pleasure. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Goose Creek, and if                  you came for an overnight stay Greenville Farm Family Campground is a wonderful location to camp. Summertime at Bell Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Bell Pond during the winter frequently dip into the 10's. Woodall Pond is a pleasant lake next to Bell Pond, and Broad Run has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by.
