The James River Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Barlows Pond; a nice place to camp here at Barlows Pond is Williamsburg/Colonial KOA. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Barlows Pond. Going for a hike on the Lower Chippokes Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and close by you hit upon the College Run Trail which is a fine hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Williamsburg - Days Inn       Colonial Resort is a perfect spot to get some rest, and why not take a look at Barlows Pond Dam if you're here. Barlows Pond is a pretty wet place typically with a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most; April meanwhile is the driest month.
