Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Back Creek - South River Tributary, and if you came to camp Waynesboro North 340 Campground is a great spot to do that. and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Rockfish Run. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Waynesboro is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and camping at Kennedy Fields Campgrounds is always a brilliant experience.
While you're here at Baker Springs Basin you will meet lots of folks from nearby Staunton-Waynesboro, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Sawmill Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay
