There's so much to do here at Ardarra Farm Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Campground       is a good place for that; there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Belle Meade Linden Trail. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Ardarra Farm Lake has it all. Going for a hike on the Loudoun Heights Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Hickory Tree Farm Lake is a magnificent lake close by. There are magnificent places to explore along the Rattlesnake Trail.
