If you get bored of Allens Pond, you could also stop at close by Chisholm Lake Number One, and while you're here you can take a hike along the South River Falls Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Allens Pond.       The smiling folks of Charlottesville like to hang out close by, and here at Allens Pond you can spot Frays Mountain. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Allens Pond get into the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Allens Pond are in the 20's.
